Earthquake 1

It was one gloomy day in London, took the picture, source of my inspiration. Think about building, think about strong, solid, hardlooking. But when something happen (eg. earthquake), it cracks like cookies... This thought, I've transformed to my textile.

It is about two heart that are connected together. Even when they go to the opposite directions, they will be pulled back toward each other and get intertwined in the process.

[Flower Garden] Silver necklace

I call this piece Flower Garden. I was working on the lace technique for sometime. There was no inspiration until I saw a garden full of blooming flowers, that were so lovely and lifely!

It is one of my earlier works on silver. The inspiration came from a piece of cake that I had in one quiet afternoon.

It is another hand printed top. The pattern is inspired by Chinese window. I prefer simple construction . And also it is the main style of my current work.

Silence

Would like to share the experience on underwater shooting. It was my first time and I was totally clueless. Well, normally as stylist we controlled hair, make up, clothes, and shoes. But with underwater shooting, it was totally different game.
Firstly, in the water, I couldn’t control the movement of her hair and clothes. I was at the mercy of the movement of the water.
Secondly, no shoes! How could that be? Oh well, the story was, she was running from killer and fell into water.
We tried to direct her pose in water. She tried too, I believe. But it was really difficult. A lot depended on how well she could control her body without breathing. I could only start to imagine how hard it was.

I was in MAAD Market last weekend, I always love market place as you get to meet all kinds of interesting people there.


A girl bought this pair of earing from me, and her friend came on the next day, holding a piece of tissue paper with the sketch of my earings.
